My mobile handset has been with the Xolo service centre for last 40 days. I have been constantly following up regarding its status, but not getting satisfactory answers. In my last meeting with the technical head at the service centre at Noida, I was told that Xolo had no spare part (LCD of Xolo q1000s) and so they would replace my LCD screen with a lower-compatibility LCD screen. I agreed to that too, but I am yet to get the repaired handset back. I have visited the company’s office in Gurgaon too, but no action has been taken by them as yet. I bought the phone for Rs 17,000 and it is still within the warranty period. What action can I take against them? Rohit Pandey We have written to the company, clearly telling them that they are not serious in resolving the complaint of the consumer and only dragging the issue till the warranty period expires. We have informed the company that even if the warranty period expires, the consumer will have the right to claim dues from the company. You have a strong case to appeal in consumer forum if the company does not take action sooner.
