We fail to un­der­stand how a com­pany like Voltas can force the con­sumer to re­tain a de­fec­tive unit. If the ma­chine is de­fec­tive and is within war­ranty pe­riod, the com­pany is bound to re­place the same or re­fund the cost with in­ter­est. We ex­pect the com­pany to re­solve the is­sue soon; else the con­sumer will be forced to take a legal course of ac­tion.
