I am to­tally frus­trated with the ser­vices of Re­liance Com­mu­ni­ca­tions . Some of their val­ueadded ser­vices (VAS) au­to­mat­i­cally get in­stalled on my num­ber and they deduct the avail­able bal­ance on their own. Cus­tomer care sim­ply de­nies re­fund on such auto ser­vices. Although the mat­ter is of a mere six ru­pees for one VAS, what con­cerns me is the vol­ume of the fraud since there may be many cus­tomers who they are cheat­ing in this man­ner. Gau­rang Ba­j­pai It is ap­par­ent from TRAI reg­u­la­tions that any VAS with­out spe­cific con­sent is not charge­able ser­vice. There­fore, a con­sumer can­not be asked to pay for the ser­vice. You may file a writ­ten com­plaint to the nodal of­fi­cer and es­ca­late the case to ap­pel­late if you do not get re­fund.
