We bought a Kent RO water filter in Kolkata. When we requested for a service at their Howrah centre, we were first told that only the Kolkata centre could do that as the machine was bought from there. The Howrah centre then agreed to do the service if we paid the annual maintenance contract (AMC) fee of Rs 4,000. We paid them the same. However, till date nobody from Kent has turned up to do the service. We regret buying Kent. Please tell us what action we may take against the company for such harassment. If you do not get a fair resolution, you may move the district consumer forum.
