I am a Videocon d2h customer and had complained about a problem in our TV that has a built-in set-top box. The company did not send any engineer but telephoned us saying that the TV’s PCB (motherboard) would be changed. After taking their own time, the company changed the motherboard and charged Rs 3,100 for the same. However, the problem continued and thereon many engineers visited but could not resolve the problem. They even took the TV to their service centre and returned the same after supposedly repairing the same, but the problem persisted. At present the company is not entertaining our calls, while their representatives talk in a rude and rough manner. Shashikant Yadav Voice had written to the company stating that despite several repairs the TV set was not functioning properly. Hence, the complainant consumer is justified in demanding refund of the cost or replacement of the TV set itself. We hope that the company will take consumer-friendly action.
