Consumer Voice - - Malt-based Food -

As per FSS Reg­u­la­tions, the to­tal plate count in malt-based food shall not be more than 50,000 cfu per gram.

As per FSS Reg­u­la­tions, the yeast and mould in malt-based food shall not be more than 100 cfu/gm.

Malted food shall be packed in her­met­i­cally sealed, clean, and sound tin con­tain­ers or glass bot­tles or other mois­ture-proof con­tain­ers, such as rigid con­tain­ers made from high-den­sity poly­eth­yl­ene, or con­tain­ers made from flex­i­ble pack­ag­ing ma­te­rial,
