Traf­fic light for fat was am­ber in all brands – this means one may con­sume these oc­ca­sion­ally. Bonn Marie Day had low­est fat (11.6 per cent) and McVi­tie’s Marie had the high­est (14.5 per cent). Traf­fic light for sugar was red for Bri­tan­nia Vita Marie Gold and McVi­tie’s Marie Whole Wheat – this means one may con­sume these brands spar­ingly. For all other brands, it was am­ber – this means eat oc­ca­sion­ally. Sugar was high­est in Bri­tan­nia Vita Marie Gold (27.0 per cent) and low­est in Patan­jali Marie (13.0 per cent).
