How to hide Hungover Skin
Puffy eyes, tired skin and acne... who said partying all night is a recipe for fun? Fake ' I slept and didn't drink' skin with these tricks
1 " GOSH! I WAS PARTYING ALL NIGHT"
“Six- eight hours of undisturbed sleep is essential, as your skin sheds dead cells and undergoes a repair system at night to give you a rested glow in the morning,” says Dr Madhuri Agarwal, Consultant Derm at The Skin Clinic, Mumbai. Fake a full eight- hours with products that do the exact trick for your skin. " Use a toner to plump your skin and tighten pores," says Agarwal. Then use a scrub to slough off dead cells, followed by a light- reflecting cream and foundation.
2 " MORE DRINKS MEAN MORE PIMPLES"
" A rise in your sugar intake results in breakouts," explains Dr Simal Soin, Derm at Three Graces Spa, New Delhi. " Take multi- vitamin supplements and minerals like zinc and selenium for healthy, smooth skin. Also drink plenty of water to flush out toxins from your body," says Agarwal. Removing all traces of make- up at night is key. And if you're too tired to cleanse, keep facial acial wipes handy for a quick job.
3 " HELP! TOO MUCH PARTYING HAS GIVEN ME PUFFY EYES"
" Inadequate sleep and drinking results sults in the accumulation of toxins under er the delicate eye area," says Dr Soin. Apply an under- eye serum to o reduce puffiness, and use a concealer to nix dark circles and brighten the area.
