1. Punjabi Bride: How to get the look: Set the base of the look with the right foundation, and a slight hint of blush just to accentuate the cheek bones. The eyes can be played up by merging shades like gold and pink with shimmer and a generous use of mascara. Colour the lips in hues of pink and finish off the look with a touch of gloss. The hair is straightened and tied up in a bun.
2. Sikh Bride:
How to get the look: This look begins by highlighting the apples of the cheek to give them a radiant glow. Blend in shades of silver, green and pink, followed by a thin black stroke across the eyes to add definition. Add a pink lip colour to finish off the look. The hair is straightened and tied in a traditional “sagar choti” with a parandhi, to add a cultural element.
3. Christian Bride:
How to get the look: The face is given a natural radiance by adding a rosy hint to the cheeks, along with a touch of shimmer. Apply a nude shade to the eyelid, blend in with some silver and run a thin black line over the lash line. Smudge the lower lids with a shade of brown just to give it that natural simplistic look. Get creamy nude lips with a rosy lip colour. The hair is held back loosely with soft, framing curls.
4. Marwari Bride:
How to get the look: Highlight the bride’s cheekbones with a slight tint of rosy blush. Cover the lower outer eyelids in shades of gold, brown and smudge in a little dash of black. Highlight the eyebrows with a metallic shade of gold and attain flawless thick lashes by adding a dash of mascara. A shade of warm copper for the lips will be a perfect accomplice for this look. 5. Gujarati Bride:
How to get the look: The bride’s cheeks are accentuated with a delicate tint of pink, which gives her a radiant glow. Adorn the eyes with shades of magenta- pink blended in with an exotic shade of green and black eyeliner. Completing the look is a deep pink on the lips. A neat bun with hair puffed up at the sides.
6. Kannada Bride:
How to get the look: Her rich culture is embellished with deep shades of crimson and tones of bronze. Glossy maroon lips, golden eyes and thick lashes add to her exotic charm. Her hair is done up in a long braid, starting from a French hair roll. The braid is embellished with traditional jasmine flowers.
7. Bengali Bride:
How to get the look: Demure and yet individualistic, the Bengali bride looks traditional with her deep set kohl eyes. Generous amounts of mascara and deeply lined eyes highlight the features of the Bengali bride. Hints of bronze and gold on her cheeks give her a delicate blush. A deep shade of maroon beautifies her lips and completes the make- up. Her hair is parted in the middle with a slight puff on the sides and an elaborate big bun to finish.
8. Muslim Bride:
How to get the look: Apply a shade of green to the corner of the eyes along with some gold shimmer and mascara for perfectly defined lashes. Pick a metallic colour for the lips and dab on a shade of gold to add an extra touch of glamour.
9. Tamil Bride:
How to get the look: Bold kohl eyes, striking long lashes and deep maroon coloured lips add to her exotic mystique. A golden base for the eyes is blended in with shades of green and silver.
