Arabesque

(1) Stand with your feet slightly turned out, heels touch­ing. (2) Lift your right leg be­hind you so it’s at hip height. Re­turn to start. That’s one rep; do 30, and switch legs.

Plié and Kick

(1) Squat down into plié po­si­tion, with your hands touch­ing the floor in front of you. (2) Put your hands on ei­ther side of your left leg, and kick your right leg out to the side so it’s in line with your hip. Re­turn to start. That’s one rep; do 30, and switch sides.
