If you’re a fan of polka dots, you’ll love Vuitton’s new collaboration; if you’re not, you’ll be a convert, promise!

What do you get when an iconic brand, the genius of Marc Jacobs, and an 82year-old, dot-obsessed Japanese artist come together? Why, a collaboration of a lifetime, that’s what! Louis Vuitton has teamed up with Jap artist Yayoi Kusama for a cool new collection called Infinitely Kusama. A little background: Kusama has been a bit of a ‘dot icon’ since the ’60s, known to have placed dots on trees, rooms and even people! And when Vuitton’s Creative Director Marc Jacobs visited her in 2006, he was instantly inspired. Thus was born a fabulous new collectioon of bags, shoes, jewellery, and ready-too-wear, all featuring eye-popping colours, and a whole lotta dots. And if LV’s previous successful collaborations are anything to go by (remember Stephen Sprouse and Richard Prince?), we’d say this one’s going to be a mighty sell-out!
