LICENSE TO SPILL

Cosmopolitan (India) - - CONFESSIONS -

“My girlfriend invited me to her parents’ house for a party they had organised. Her parents had invited a bunch of their friends and family members too, and the tables were all so well decorated with flowers on a white tablecloth and pitchers of sangrias. Once everyone sat down, we all started talking and laughing, and things started to get rowdy. I started to tell a funny story about work, but I guess I got too animated when telling it, because I reached out my arms in a dramatic moment and knocked over the entire table. All the sangria and food spilled everywhere. The worst part? I wasn’t even drunk yet! But I was mortified because everyone thought I was.” —Gaurav Arora, 29
