LOVE LESSONS from Taylor Swift’s Exes

While she may have more ex-boyfriends than albums, we’ve got to admit we’ve learned tonnes from the singer’s relationships!

Cosmopolitan (India) - - LAST WORD -

Lesson 1—Don’t let a guy end a relationship over the phone. Taylor and Joe Jonas. The Jonas Brother infamously ended their relationship during a 27-second phone call. It’s wrong for a guy to do it, and it’s wrong for a girl to do it!

Lesson 2—Don’t ever change for a guy. Taylor and Connor Kennedy. The world saw an obvious style transformation when these two started hanging out. She adopted high-waisted skirts, ’50s inspired bikini bottoms, and it turns out she came on a little ‘too strong’.

Lesson 3—Once a bad boy, always a bad boy. Taylor and John Mayer. It might be wise to keep your guard up when a guy has broken up with several girls (cue Jessica Simpson and Jen Aniston) for being a jerk. As soon as John and Taylor ended things, he went public and called her songs “cheap” and “bullsh*t”.

Lesson 4—Sometimes age does matter. Taylor and Jake Gyllenhaal. Apparently, the 32-year-old initiated the relationship with the 23-year-old and later broke it off citing age differences. Sometimes dating an older guy can be tricky, so be careful.

Lesson 5—Watch out for his wandering eye. Taylor and Harry Styles. Reportedly, Taylor ended things when she saw a picture of Harry ‘making out’ with a friend.
