In the 1980s, women started sneak­ing pad­ding into their blaz­ers to broaden their shoul­der, cre­at­ing the il­lu­sion of a more mas­cu­line sil­hou­ette. Pop­u­lar among fe­males in the cor­po­rate wold, th­ese ba­bies were made to make a lady feel pow­er­ful.
