Can you imagine your life without all the technology, innovation, and digital awesomeness that surrounds us? I can’t.

I often find myself wondering what people did before cell phones. How did you tell someone you were stuck in traffic, and how did they wait at the restaurant without Candy Crush and Angry Birds? And I can’t even begin to fathom a life where you can’t Google reviews for that new beauty launch, sift through thousands of online shopping buys, and know what funny thing Kim Kardashian did 30 seconds ago. And don’t even get me started on where we’ll be without Skyping (Sayonara, long distance relationships), YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Pinterest, and the unlimited, live access to the most amazing people, happenings, and services around the globe! ( Psst... check out Vine—six-second videos that’ll have you hooked!)

On that scary mental image note, welcome to our second Digital Issue. Last year, same month, we launched India’s first digital-theme issue, and the response was so amazing, we simply had to do it again. This special edition is dedicated to researching, understanding and applauding the many ways in which the Web and technology can improve our lives—and change them forever. There are some great stories ahead, including several where we celebrate our favourite online journalists—India’s top bloggers! We also conducted an online career poll to ID your dream jobs, and got the women behind them to share their success formulas ( The Top 8 Careers You Want, page 100). Plus, find out how you can support your favourite charities online (page 46), and get educated about the products that bloggers and users are raving about ( The Internet Beauty Awards, page 154). Finally, and this is really important, Cosmo is all support for gay rights and equality in India, and have put together a very special feature on page 118 ( Girls Who Like Girls), complete with tonnes of myth-busting info and some really fun ‘lesbian selfies’. As always e-mail, Tweet, and FB us your thoughts, comments and ideas!

Till next month,
