IAMCP sets 2014 agenda


The In­ter­na­tional As­so­ci­a­tion of Mi­crosoft Chan­nel Part­ners (IAMCP) re­cently or­ga­nized the Wel­come New Year 2014 event in Mum­bai.

The event, which saw at­ten­dance by Mi­crosoft rep­re­sen­ta­tives and chan­nel part­ners, started with a demon­stra­tion of SharePoint by Nitin Paran­jpe, Founder and CEO, Maxof­fice Ser­vices. In an in­ter­ac­tive ses­sion Paran­jpe showed part­ners ways to earn ser­vices rev­enue from SharePoint. He said, “Learn about the prod­uct, and you can not only tighten your pre­sales pitch but also earn ser­vices rev­enue by train­ing cus­tomers.”

Mukesh Thu­mar, Pres­i­dent, IAMCP In­dia (West), an­nounced the agenda for IAMCP for 2014 and be­yond. “We want Mi­crosoft to pro­vide un­flinch­ing sup­port, launch pri­or­ity pro­grams and ex­tend com­pet­i­tive ben­e­fits for IAMCP part­ners,” said Thu­mar.

Added Pravin Rege, Vice Pres­i­dent of the as­so­ci­a­tion, “It is time Mi­crosoft rec­og­nized our con­tri­bu­tion and of­fered pref­er­en­tial treat­ment to IAMCP mem­bers; our new team will make that hap­pen by work­ing closely with Mi­crosoft.”

Kar­tik Shah, Trea­surer of the as­so­ci­a­tion pointed out the ben­e­fits of IAMCP mem­ber­ship. He de­tailed av­enues through which part­ners can win lau­rels and more im­por­tantly, ex­pand their busi­ness world­wide with the help of the thriv­ing Mi­crosoft part­ner com­mu­nity.
