Freecharge part­ners with Meru ride for cash­less com­mut­ing ser­vice

Cus­tomers can now link their Freecharge wal­let on Meru’s app, with the fare be­ing auto deb­ited from the wal­let on the com­ple­tion of the ride. With this part­ner­ship, Freecharge aims to in­flu­ence daily habits of com­muters to move from cash to dig­i­tal pay­ments. Freecharge’s en­deavor is to in­flu­ence the daily pay­ment habits of con­sumers and of­fer an as­sort­ment of mer­chants to help them move away from cash. Through such as­so­ci­a­tions, Freecharge is fur­ther win­ning the cus­tomer’s trust with 99% trans­ac­tion suc­cess rate and is strength­en­ing its part­ner ecosys­tem and ex­pand­ing its foot­print in the travel and hos­pi­tal­ity sec­tor.
