Resuming at 57-4, Pakistan limped to 119-8 by lunch which was extended after rain suspended play for an hour.

Misbah frustrated England by contributing 60 runs to a ninth-wicket stand with Wahab Riaz (39) before off-spinner Moeen Ali wrapped up the innings by dismissing both batsmen.
