STRAYS BITE 13 IN VIZAG DISTRICT

Stray dogs bit 13 people at Rolugunta in Vizag district on Monday. K. Ramana was the first to be attacked by the dogs when he was walking on the road at around 7 am. Later, a few others living in the area were also attacked and bitten.

The injured were first admitted to a local hospital and later at the Narsipatnam hospital. They were administered the anti-rabies vaccine and discharged.

There have been complaints earlier of stray dogs attacking locals in and around Rolugunta, the young and the elderly being the main targets.
