Save PS building: Activist

Following the GHMC’s notice to the Ramgopalpet police to vacate the building, heritage enthusiasts appealed to the government to restore the iconic heritage structure.

Mr Veda Kumar of the Forum for Better Hyderabad said, “It was constructed by the British era in European style and is a landmark.

“The building which has a clock tower was constructed by Diwan Bahadur Seth Ramgopal, a Rajasthan trader. The windows and doors were designed with their own architectural style. We cannot imagine MG Road without this structure.”
