Hyderabad U-23 draw with Vidarbha

The Hyderabad U-23 cricket side drew their Col C.K. Nayudu Elite Group ‘C’ league match against Vidarbha in Nagpur on Thursday. Replying to Vidarbha’s first innings total of 445, Hyderabad were all out for 374. The hosts had replied with 156 for 8 when stumps were drawn. S.K. Wath, who had done well in the first innings as well, scored 94 in the first innings, followed it up with a fine 44 in the second but Vidarbha were found wanting in their second essay at their home ground. M.R. Kale made an identical 57 — he had scored those many in the first innings too. BRIEF SCORES Day-4: Vidarbha 445 in 123.1 overs & 156 for 8 in 97 overs (S.K. Wath 44, M.R.
