Drunk hacks wife to death at home

Hyderabad: A drunk allegedly hacked his wife to death inside his house at Bhavaninagar in Jubilee Hills early on Sunday. The suspect, B. Nagesh, 28, hit his wife with a blunt object on her head and fled after making sure she was dead. Neighbours found the body in a pool of blood after hours. Police said that Nagesh suspected his wife B. Yashodha’s fidelity. “On Saturday night he came home and had a quarrel with his wife. He broke the cot's leg and hit her with it on the head. Yashodha collapsed and died,” said a police official from Banjara Hills. Neighbours checked the house after Nagesh left. Police thinks that Nagesh has left the city and has gone to Amrabad.
