Drunk girl stumbles into freezer, dies
Washington, Sept. 16: A 19-year-old girl was found dead in the freezer of a hotel in Chicago in the US last week.
Fresh CCTV footage shows the girl was drunk and stumbled into the walk-in freezer of the hotel, where she died, media reports said.
The footage contradicts popular claims on social media suspecting foul play in her death and claims that she had been coerced into the hotel freezer.
In the video, Kenneka Jenkins can be seen stumbling around the hallways and kitchen of the hotel. The 19-year-old can be seen leaving the elevator alone at 3.20 am then struggling to maintain her balance as she navigates the hallways of The Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Kenneka was at the hotel on September 8 for a party with friends. She was reported missing on Saturday and found dead in the freezer the next day, MailOnline reported.
The teen’s family’s lawyer told Chicago Tribune they will seek their own investigation into her death and also a second autopsy.
