CHAITANYA STUDENT HANGS TO DEATH

A 17-year-old student committed suicide at Chaitanya medical campus in Madhapur by hanging herself to death.

She was rushed to a nearby private hospital where she was declared brought dead. The deceased was identified as T. Samyuktha, a native of Ranampally in Nizamabad.

“She was preparing for the NEET examinations by opting for a long-term course and was residing at Basara Bhavan in the college premises,” said the police.

She was not performing well in the exams and was even hesitant to meet her parents and had shared it with her friends. “On Wednesday around 8pm, she wrote a suicide note regarding her poor performance and committed suicide by hanging with the help of a dupatta,” added the police.

The body was shifted to the Osmania Hospital for a postmortem.
