HC NOTICE TO TS, AP, CENTRE ON BAPTIST CHURCH TRANSACTIONS

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Thursday issued notices to the Centre, AP and TS governments and the CBI on a petition by Samavesham of Telugu Baptist Churches (STBC) which alleged inaction by the investigating agency in initiating a probe into alleged fraudulent transactions in STBC properties and misappropriation of money received after a sale. Justice Challa Kodanda Ram issued notices to 54 respondents seeking their stand on the petition. The STBC was represented by its special administrative officer Ch. Anjana Prasad. The petitioner submitted that one G.D.D. Diwakar of Kavali was a prime suspect in the case was attempting to leave the country.
