Bur­glar in­volved in 150 cases held

The Keesara po­lice on Wednesday ar­rested a bur­glar who has al­legedly been in­volved in more than 150 cases.

Cops also ar­rested a woman for pro­vid­ing him shel­ter and aid­ing and abetting the crime.

Gold and sil­ver or­na­ments, all worth about `10 lakh, was re­cov­ered from L. Uma Ma­hesh­war Rao alias Munna of Srikaku­lam, who was in­volved in 14 cases in Hy­der­abad alone.

K. Yadamma of Cher­la­pally, who gave him shel­ter and bought stolen goods from him, was also ar­rested.

Ac­cord­ing to the po­lice, Munna was first nabbed by the Tekkali po­lice in a bur­glary case, af­ter which he was found to be in­volved in over 150 cases.

He was ar­rested by the po­lice in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Te­lan­gana state in var­i­ous cases.
