Deoband ex­pels Khur­shid from Is­lam for wor­ship­ping Lord Ram

More­over, idol wor­ship is strictly banned in Is­lam” said a state­ment in Urdu is­sued by Deoband’s Ulema Mufti Tariq Kashmi. “His act vi­o­lates Is­lamic laws and, there­fore, he is be­ing ousted from the Is­lam with im­me­di­ate ef­fect,” said the Ulema “He is no longer a Mus­lim and should re­pent be­fore Al­lah for his unIs­lamic act and read Kalma; only then will he be al­lowed to re-em­brace Is­lam as per Is­lamic laws,” said the Ulema.

The Deoband Mufti warned Mus­lims to stay away from such unIs­lamic acts or be ready to face the con­se­quences.
