DDA, the government’s housing body, has mapped these flats in the first phase of its scheme of making 1 lakh flats over five years. The scheme was announced by former union minister for urban development (MoUD), Venkaiah Naidu, on June 30, while launching the 2017 housing scheme. The flats were announced under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to offer affordable housing in the city.
