Ntnl executive meet on Sept 25
New Delhi: Marking the end of birth centenary celebrations of its ideologue Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya with a show of strength, the BJP will hold its extended national executive meeting in New Delhi’s Talkatora Stadium on September 25.
A day before that, on September 24, the BJP office-bearers will hold a preliminary meeting to fine tune the agenda and issues for the meeting.
The extended national executive is expected to see participation of over 1,400 MLAs, 83 MLCs, 281 Lok Sabha MPs, 56 Rajya Sabha members apart from the members of its core group of states. The event will be addressed by Prime Minister Narednra Modi and party president Amit Shah.
Party sources said, besides discussing how to expand and extend Pt Upadhyaya’s ideology, the event is also meant to directly communicate with all the party law makers on a range of issues, including the thorny ones related to the economy, employment, famers, etc.
