In­di­ans’ bowlers had a hard day at the of­fice with Le­ices­ter­shire tak­ing a 16- run lead on the third day of their tour match on Le­ices­ter on Satur­day, cour­tesy two cen­turies by An­gus Rob­son and Greg Smith. Af­ter declar­ing overnight on Day 2, only Ishant Sharma ( 2/ 64) and Pankaj Singh ( 1/ 46) man­aged to get wick­ets. The match ended in a draw. Brief scores: In­di­ans 333/ 4 decl drew with Le­ices­ter­shire 349/ 5 in 62 overs ( A Rob­son 126 retd out, G Smith 101 retd out; I Sharma 2/ 64, P Singh 1/ 46) Miguel Oliveira rode fan­tas­ti­cally from far of the grid to deliver Team Mahin­dra’s first podium of the sea­son as he fin­ished third at the Dutch GP in the Moto3 class of the Moto GP on Satur­day. Start­ing as back as 13 on the grid, the Por­tuguese teenager took con­trol on the sixth of 22 laps of the 4.54- km clas­sic Assen cir­cuit, nick­named ‘ the Cathe­dral of Rac­ing’.
