We’re no slaves of BJP, says Kushwaha’s RLSP
Patna: Union Minister Upendra Kushwaha’s Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) may be brewing more trouble for the NDA camp in Bihar.
Senior party leader Nagmani, talking to reporters in Jehanabad, expressed displeasure that RLSP had not yet been invited for seat-sharing talks even as proposed “20-20 formula” was reported in the media and Bihar CM and JD-U President Nitish Kumar was claiming that a “respectable agreement” had been reached with the BJP over the matter.
“Party will hold a meeting and decide what is good for it, especially its chief Upendra Kushwaha. We are not a slave of the BJP,” said Nagmani. He said, “The JD-U has barely 1-2% vote base and it is demanding 17-18 seats while we have a solid 10% vote.”
