Numerous attempts have been made in the past to clean the Ganga but it remains filthy. Can we save the holy river?

Down to Earth - - LETTERS -

Ganga can be saved with government efforts, public awareness and campaign in the media. Saving the river is not the duty of one individual.

ADVENTUROUS KINGSUK We can save the Ganga with the support of society. People will have to stop throwing garbage into the river and industries will have to stop polluting it. Only then we will be able to revive the river.

SHREYA SONALI We have to train ourselves to keep the river clean. This is a national issue.

ANANYAJA DEBADIPTA The day man will be able to control his greed, nature will regain its pristine form.

SUMAN KUMAR We need to realise that whatever we give to Mother Nature, she will give it back to us.
