"Emer­gency call" (Au­gust 1631, 2014) was a well-re­searched ar­ti­cle on a sub­ject that needs im­me­di­ate at­ten­tion—safe space for pedes­tri­ans and cy­clists. In­di­ans should adopt healthy and en­vi­ron­ment­friendly modes of trans­port.

One of the im­por­tant rea­sons for ve­hic­u­lar ac­ci­dents in the coun­try is poor light­ing on the streets. Equally at fault are driv­ers who put head­lights on high beam. This ob­scures the vi­sion of the driver com­ing from the op­po­site di­rec­tion. But hardly any news­pa­per re­port on road ac­ci­dents talks about th­ese fac­tors.
