Khobarvel root: about two inches Water: two cups Tea leaves: a teaspoon Sugar or jaggery: to taste
Wash the root and pound it till the hard inner fibres are thoroughly crushed. Add it to water, bring to boil and allow to simmer for a few minutes, till the flavor gets absorbed by the water. Add tea leaves and sugar or jaggery.
One can add milk or other spices like ginger or cardamom to the tea.
