Yes. Peo­ple shouldn't be eat­ing fake food like Maggi in the first place.

The gov­ern­ment will ban Maggi be­cause it is bad for health. But al­co­hol and cig­a­rettes will never be banned be­cause they are huge rev­enue earn­ers for the gov­ern­ment.

PURNIMAA RAN­GANATH To­day, mar­ket forces for ex­clu­sive prod­ucts can­not just easily push and in­flu­ence the public via celebri­ties. This Nes­tle Maggi case will at least be­come a les­son for all moth­ers who be­lieve celebrity moms and feed their kids all sort of junk and readyto-eat stuff.
