Down To Earth speaks to Kumar Sundaram, a Research Consultant with the Coalition for Nuclear Disarmament and Peace, about Kakrapar and nuclear power in India. According to Sundaram, the Centre must allow civilian nuclear reactors to be publicly scrutinised as India has signed the civil nuclear deal with the US in 2006-07.
