Is the Centre's decision to form a panel to look into the use of pellet guns for crowdmanagement in Kashmir correct?
Yes. But the panel should also look into the injuries sustained by army and police personnel from people throwing stones and other objects.
The developments in the Kashmir valley must be looked into in totality. Viewing this from a chauvinistic angle will complicate the situation further to the advantage of Pakistan.
What is an army man supposed to do when there are people throwing stones and other objects at him?
Protesters should stop violent anti-India protests and there will be no further problem.
The Centre should also set up an expert committee to look into the use of stones, petrol bombs, grenades, bullets and other such objects on the Army and the police.
