Quantum Storage appoints Guna Sekaran as country manager, India

Quantum Storage has appointed Guna Sekaran R as the country manger for India and Sri Lanka. The move comes after the company announced new investments in big data management and data protection solutions in India with the opening of offices in Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi. In this context, the compny will open two centers of excellence in Bangalore and Delhi., which will showcase solutions of Quantum Corporation (‘Quantum’) and will allow customers to run Proof of Concept, Demo and Performance Testing for these solutions. “As the storage market in India is growing rapidly, we see a substantial opportunity for data protection and big data solutions across government sectors, large corporations and fast-emerging small and medium business segment,” said Jeff Lebold, Quantum Area VP of Sales. “Guna, with his expertise in the storage arena and related technologies, coupled with industry-wide relationships, will be an asset to the company, customers, and partners all alike,” he added.
