MAZDA MARVASTI JOINS CORENT AS CHAIR OF PROD­UCT AD­VI­SORY BOARD

Corent Tech­nol­ogy, a provider of SurPaaS, a Cloud Migration and Man­age­ment plat­form, has named for­mer VMware CTO Mazda Marvasti as the chair­man of its Prod­uct Ad­vi­sory Board.

“With SurPaaS, CIOs can as­sess, Cloud­ify, and SaaSify their mission crit­i­cal ap­pli­ca­tions with­out spend­ing thou­sands of cod­ing hours to build what SurPaaS of­fers na­tively,” said Corent CEO Feyzi Fatehi.

Marvasti was most re­cently VP/CTO of Cloud Man­age­ment unit at VMware. He ar­rived at VMware via the ac­qui­si­tion of In­te­grien where he was co-founder and CTO from 2005 to 2010. Prior, Marvasti was the CTO of Low­erMyBills.com (ac­quired by Ex­pe­rian for $380M) where he built the ini­tial team and launched the ser­vice to mil­lions of daily users. Marvasti holds 23 patents on large scale data an­a­lyt­ics will guide the com­pany’s plat­form pri­or­i­ties and di­rec­tion.
