Su­mathy Anan­tharam con­sid­ers her early days as very chal­leng­ing as the work de­manded on site su­per­vi­sion on ex­e­cu­tion of dig­ging trench­ing. But from a young age she wanted to be dif­fer­ent and achieve and hence chose this field, so she chose to work in her field. The chal­lenges of be­ing a woman ex­ec­u­tive in a top role was to win con­fi­dence from your man­age­ment that we can also per­form our roles and re­spon­si­bil­i­ties and we are equal to them in all re­spects.

As far as of­fice cul­ture is con­cerned, her pol­icy is to make em­ploy­ees feel com­fort­able work­ing with a women boss. Man­ag­ing house­hold and of­fice is some­thing all women have to do and be good at.

Her hob­bies in­clude so­cial net­work­ing and coun­sel­ing. She plans to open a re­tire­ment home and pro­vide shel­ter to more than 200 el­ders and take care of them and pro­vide them the best style of liv­ing.
