Rewarding its ‘Sikandars’ of sales: Lenovo’s Partner incentive program
Lenovo has announced the launch of its latest partner program with the catchy name ‘Lenovo Ka Sikandar.’ The program seeks to reward partner sales reps for not only generating sales but also for effective lead generation. The program will be applicable to sales representatives of registered Lenovo India’s commercial business partners. The program started in early November 2015 and will go on till the end of April 2016.
A strong leads pipeline is usually an indicator of healthy sales. It is a simple equation. Greater the volume in the funnel, bigger the eventual sales. Understanding this crucial fact, Lenovo aims to incentivize partner sales persons from opportunity to closure level; thereby achieving an increase in the breadth of its small to mid-ticket sales.
“By increasing the number of proposals being sent to customers every day, we hope to increase the number of closures happening every day. We believe it’s a great opportunity for us to grow our PC & EBG businesses,” said Pankaj Harjai, CGM, Commercial channel, Lenovo India. “Our Sales teamswill be rewarded for their efforts in generating leads too, which we believe is an important part of the sales process.”
Lenovo has created a portal (www.systemxkasikandar.com) for Partner sales reps to register, and to streamline the lead validation and rewards process. Sales persons are required to submit details of any impending PC or SystemX deals onto the portal.
