Re­ward­ing its ‘Sikan­dars’ of sales: Len­ovo’s Part­ner in­cen­tive pro­gram

Len­ovo has an­nounced the launch of its lat­est part­ner pro­gram with the catchy name ‘Len­ovo Ka Sikan­dar.’ The pro­gram seeks to re­ward part­ner sales reps for not only gen­er­at­ing sales but also for ef­fec­tive lead gen­er­a­tion. The pro­gram will be ap­pli­ca­ble to sales rep­re­sen­ta­tives of reg­is­tered Len­ovo In­dia’s com­mer­cial busi­ness part­ners. The pro­gram started in early Novem­ber 2015 and will go on till the end of April 2016.

A strong leads pipe­line is usu­ally an in­di­ca­tor of healthy sales. It is a sim­ple equa­tion. Greater the vol­ume in the fun­nel, big­ger the even­tual sales. Un­der­stand­ing this cru­cial fact, Len­ovo aims to in­cen­tivize part­ner sales per­sons from op­por­tu­nity to clo­sure level; thereby achiev­ing an in­crease in the breadth of its small to mid-ticket sales.

“By in­creas­ing the num­ber of pro­pos­als be­ing sent to cus­tomers ev­ery day, we hope to in­crease the num­ber of clo­sures hap­pen­ing ev­ery day. We be­lieve it’s a great op­por­tu­nity for us to grow our PC & EBG busi­nesses,” said Pankaj Har­jai, CGM, Com­mer­cial chan­nel, Len­ovo In­dia. “Our Sales team­swill be re­warded for their ef­forts in gen­er­at­ing leads too, which we be­lieve is an im­por­tant part of the sales process.”

The process

Len­ovo has cre­ated a por­tal (www.sys­temxkasikan­ for Part­ner sales reps to reg­is­ter, and to stream­line the lead val­i­da­tion and re­wards process. Sales per­sons are re­quired to sub­mit de­tails of any im­pend­ing PC or Sys­temX deals onto the por­tal.
