Waaree commissions solar plant for Roha Dyechem in Rajasthan
olar solutions provider Waaree Energies Ltd has announced the commissioning of a 27.5-mw DC solar power plant for Roha Dyechem Pvt Ltd at Bhadla Solar Park in Rajasthan. Spread across 125 acres, the project equipped with over 89,000 solar panels was commissioned in a record time of 116 days.
This project was
SDychem under the Rajasthan Solar Policy 2011 (Phase 1) with a 25-year power purchase agreement with Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd (RRECL). Waaree Energies was engaged by RohaDychem as an end-to-end EPC solution provider. The project utilizes 305Wp and 310Wp polycrystalline solar panels and 750 kW TMEIC central inverter.
This is the second largest project commissioned by Waaree Energies Ltd after its 50-mw project for Waaneep Solar in Madhya Pradesh, earlier this year. Waaneep Solar is a special purpose vehicle promoted by Waaree Energies and North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (Neepco). The plant has come up on a 250-acre expanse at Ichhawar in Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh.
