Waa­ree com­mis­sions so­lar plant for Roha Dyechem in Ra­jasthan

olar so­lu­tions provider Waa­ree En­er­gies Ltd has an­nounced the com­mis­sion­ing of a 27.5-mw DC so­lar power plant for Roha Dyechem Pvt Ltd at Bhadla So­lar Park in Ra­jasthan. Spread across 125 acres, the project equipped with over 89,000 so­lar pan­els was com­mis­sioned in a record time of 116 days.

This project was

SDy­chem un­der the Ra­jasthan So­lar Pol­icy 2011 (Phase 1) with a 25-year power pur­chase agree­ment with Ra­jasthan Re­new­able En­ergy Cor­po­ra­tion Ltd (RRECL). Waa­ree En­er­gies was en­gaged by Ro­haDy­chem as an end-to-end EPC so­lu­tion provider. The project uti­lizes 305Wp and 310Wp poly­crys­talline so­lar pan­els and 750 kW TMEIC cen­tral in­verter.

This is the sec­ond largest project com­mis­sioned by Waa­ree En­er­gies Ltd af­ter its 50-mw project for Waa­neep So­lar in Mad­hya Pradesh, ear­lier this year. Waa­neep So­lar is a spe­cial pur­pose ve­hi­cle pro­moted by Waa­ree En­er­gies and North East­ern Elec­tric Power Cor­po­ra­tion (Neepco). The plant has come up on a 250-acre ex­panse at Ich­hawar in Seoni dis­trict of Mad­hya Pradesh.
