Govern­ment has trig­gered the LED light­ing rev­o­lu­tion

NTL Lem­nis, as we un­der­stand, was to in­tro­duce the full range of LED light­ing prod­ucts for the In­dian retail mar­ket by early 2015? What has been the re­sponse? In De­cem­ber 2014, NTL Lem­nis launched its com­plete range of over 250 LED prod­ucts for the retail mar­ket. And al­most si­mul­ta­ne­ously, the EESL cam­paigns started, and we were the part­ners for them for pro­vid­ing LED lamps in num­bers far sur­pass­ing what we had en­vis­aged. We be­gan in real earnest, around the se­cond half of 2015 and to­day we are work­ing on de­vel­op­ing a strong and ro­bust dis­tri­bu­tion chan­nel. We have been able to tie-up with very good and known chan­nel part­ners across dif­fer­ent cities. We are in­creas­ing our foot­print on a daily ba­sis and the re­sponse to our of­fer­ings has been very heart­en­ing. End users are very ap­pre­cia­tive of our range and we hope to be­come a pre­ferred brand of choice in the com­ing years. Cur­rently, what are the ma­jor In­dian ge­o­graph­i­cal re­gions that you are tar­get­ing and what is your plan of ex­pand­ing your pres­ence pan In­dia? So far as pro­ject sales are con­cerned, we are al­ready ac­tive in north, west and south­ern In­dia. In the third quar­ter of the next fi­nan­cial year, our teams will be in place for east­ern In­dia as well.

For the retail seg­ment, NTL Lem­nis has been con­cen­trat­ing in north­ern and western In­dia and has dis­tri­bu­tion and retail net­work in place across th­ese ge­ogra­phies. Our south­ern re­gion is un­der de­vel­op­ment and we will shortly (in 3-4 months) roll out our com­plete range across south. We are hop­ing to have a good dis­tri­bu­tion and retail net­work in place in the east­ern re­gion, to­wards the end of the cur­rent year as well.
