This book out­lines how Sim­u­la­tion Pro­gram with In­te­grated Cir­cuit Em­pha­sis ( SPICE) is used in the process of de­sign. Across its 14 chap­ters, it cov­ers method­olo­gies for analysing tran­sis­tor and op-amp cir­cuits, over a hun­dred SPICE ex­am­ples and sev­eral in-depth ex­er­cise prob­lem sets to be solved us­ing Spice.

The book can be used as a man­ual for com­puter-aided anal­y­sis of mi­cro­elec­tronic cir­cuits. Though in­tended for un­der­grad­u­ate stu­dents learn­ing mi­cro­elec­tron­ics for the rst time, it can also serve as a tu­to­rial to many in­dus­try pro­fes­sion­als. Most cir­cuits in the book can be sim­u­lated us­ing a stu­dent ver­sion of PSpice.
