IBM bans Siri

If you work for IBM, you cannot use Apple’s Siri at office anymore. You may call this decision too conservative but IBM is worried that Siri, the personal assistant feature on Apple’s latest iPhone, will send confidential data straight to Apple headquarters.

Apple had introduced Siri on the iPhone 4S in October 2011. But it is yet not known to many Apple users that the handy tool beams every single thing they say to it back to the Cupertino giant’s servers.
