REVIVAL OF THE SUPERFAST

In the Fifties, Ferrari was building cars to woo the Americans and came up with several cars with the America suffix. A 410 Superamerica was one of these USA-centric models with a 5-litre V12. Pininfarina followed that up with the 410 Superfast with the same V12 but a shorter wheelbase. A further attempt to blend in were the Cadillac-styled tail fins. The 410 Superfast in the fifties made way for a more modern 500 Superfast (pictured here) in the mid-sixties. This car developed 394bhp and had a top speed of 280kmph.
