USINESS IS DOING well this year, we are up 7-8 per cent in sales, and I am very positive about India. Things are going in the right direction after GST implementa­tion; I think the Prime Minister is doing a great job. I think we need in India a stable and predictabl­e business environmen­t, legislatur­e needs to be in charge for this. I believe that we are number one in growth this year in the luxury segment, but what is number one? You are number one if it is the most sustainabl­e car company in the world, the most environmen­t friendly, most consumer friendly, most innovative and then the most profitable. Volume is important too and I used to have discussion­s 4-5 years back with some colleagues from Stuttgart. They were all about numbers. But number one will always be customer satisfacti­on and brand perception for me.
