USINESS IS DO­ING well this year, we are up 7-8 per cent in sales, and I am very pos­i­tive about In­dia. Things are go­ing in the right di­rec­tion af­ter GST im­ple­men­ta­tion; I think the Prime Min­is­ter is do­ing a great job. I think we need in In­dia a sta­ble and pre­dictable busi­ness en­vi­ron­ment, leg­is­la­ture needs to be in charge for this. I be­lieve that we are number one in growth this year in the lux­ury seg­ment, but what is number one? You are number one if it is the most sus­tain­able car com­pany in the world, the most en­vi­ron­ment friendly, most con­sumer friendly, most in­no­va­tive and then the most prof­itable. Vol­ume is im­por­tant too and I used to have dis­cus­sions 4-5 years back with some col­leagues from Stuttgart. They were all about num­bers. But number one will al­ways be cus­tomer sat­is­fac­tion and brand per­cep­tion for me.
