Fi­nan­cial firms, like HDFC Bank, use im­ages in ad­di­tion to your pass­word for online se­cu­rity . Now re­searchers at Stony Brook Univer­sity in New York have come up with a sys­tem called Phorce­field to stymie phish­ers. Phorce­field re­quires users to choose four im­ages from 12 as part of their graph­i­cal pass­word. Tests proved it is well nigh im­pos­si­ble for the phisher to come up with the ex­act 12 im­ages for the user to choose from ev­ery time he or she logs in.
