TOUCH THE WEDGE
The Microsoft wedge Mouse is a very futuristic device and could be a harbinger of the kind of accessories we could be using in the coming years. It is a mouse, but smaller and more stylish than any we have ever seen. In fact, it is small enough to be hidden under your fingers.
It is also an example of how great design makes life easier. For instance, the battery is inserted into a spring loaded slot that will shut only if the cell is placed right. Plus, this is a Bluetooth mouse that frees up a USB port you would otherwise have needed for the accessory.
We felt this device is ideal for those using Windows 8 on a non-touch laptop, for you can scroll up and down and swipe left and right by just moving your fingers on the surface. Talking of surfaces, the mouse will work on almost all types of surfaces thanks to the Blue Track technology it runs on. We used the device on a sofa, on table cloth, on our laps and finally on the palm rest of laptop itself.
Buy it if you need a mouse that will travel with you, but not at the cost of space and style.
