The Dell Latitude 6430U is a business Ultrabook. Dell claims it is the most manageable in the world since it is vPro-enabled. This means it uses Intel’s set of security and manageability capabilities. It also meets the best compliance standards as far as data protection in concerned. Plus, it features 3rd generation Intel Core i5 processors that make this a very powerful device. The benchmark tests we ran gave it a 4000+ score that is quite decent by any standards. However, it does heat up while doing some of the heavy duty stuff.

The 6430 is a very convenient Ultrabook to use, thanks to a keyboard that is spill resistant and sports keys that have a slight curve to ease your fingers. This trackpad is a rarity with left/right keys both on the top and bottom. There is also a track spot in the middle of the keys.

The 14.0” HD (1366x768) Anti-Glare LED-backlight screen does not tire your eyes. It has good viewing angles too. The sound is good, but lacks a bit of fine tuning. But then this is a business laptop, as is evident from the host of ports that fill the sides of the device.

The battery life is another good feature as even the three-cell battery can last upto six hours. There is also a six-cell option that will make this device heavier. The storage can be a bit of a dampener as our test device had just 128GB SSD.

A good buy for the business class
